I relied on the Recuero et al. (2006) papers, which have a data gap in the vicinity of Vandenberg AFB where this frog was recorded. Gary drew a line consistent with the above reference, but the line could be a bit further south. Bottom line, more data is needed to really sort out the distrubutions on the Central Coast and even more so in the southern Sierra Nevada.

From californiaherps.com, I would have assumed that chorus frogs in Santa Barbara county were Pseudacris hypochondriaca.
