Notes
This is the lowest elevation I've found a boa so far-(for Desert boas in Ca. or Az. as I've seen them lower in Baja). Photos as found. watched this snake for close to 30 minutes, it barely moved an inch, as if it was sitting in an ambush position. A young 17-18" snake, between juvie-sub adult size. Even with it's young size, it had a little stub tail already.

Thanks, Lawrence. I was excited. I first looked in this range in 2013-(at that time, boas were not known from here and some friends found them later in 2013. I only tried 3 nights in 2014 but no boas. It is a very neat range especially the geology in it. Also of note, the very next night-(3-17-15) my friend found a Blind Snake, a huge one at that, 18-20". He didn't have a camera on him and put it in his back pack for me to photo when we met back up, but being a natural born burrower it moved the zipper up and fell out. I'm sure this was the first blind snake in this range.
Awesome record. On all accounts.
Wow, Amazing Boa.. Congrats Jeff..
