Huh, I thought I commented on this one before. Subspecies is lyrophanes unless you are in far eastern San Berdoo County.
I found three Trimorphodon biscutatus in one week in June 2006 around 10:00pm, in northern Los Angeles County. I have hunted them many times since, but have had no luck. Maybe '09 is the year of the lyre...
