Just so you know, Phrynosoma coronatum has now been split up into four species. P. coronatum now only applies to a Mexican population (which is why it's labeled the "Cape Horned Lizard" here in the database) and the ones found in Los Angeles County are considered P.blainvillii, the "Coast Horned Lizard".
