Notes
Dead specimen from the western slope of Powell Buttes. It has a mixed blending of oreganus/lutosus characteristics, typical for that area east of Bend. This 50 to 75 mile wide zone of intergradation between the two subspecies extends eastward about 300 miles to the Snake River, near Baker City.
