It was average-sized, for a D.p.vandenburghi. I've noticed, and this is a totally unscientific and haphazard observation, as I've only seen about a dozen of them, that vandenburghi seems to average a bit bigger than our local amabilis. They also seem much more likely to be greenish. It's funny, since I've read that the subspecies breakdown of ringnecks is pretty suspect.
Looks like a very large one.
