Found some duskies in this very seep last year at just around the same time of year (Record 175091), although there was a bit more snow this year at 8-14" average depth, and less of the seep was exposed. Temperatures have been significantly below average this month (one of the coldest Februaries on record) and today was the first in 27 days where the temperature managed to get above freezing. The reprieve from the cold won't last for long though, with tomorrow's high forecast at 5F and tomorrow's low forecast at -13F. It is just amazing to find these guys alert and active during such a harsh winter.
