These adult and juvenile specimens were captured in Cove Palisades State Park at Lake Billy Chinook, Deschutes River Canyon north of Bend. This non-native population is thought to have been introduced during the 1960s. Only a single initial individual was required because the species is all-female, reproducing via parthenogenesis.
