After a rain storm, found under a rotting log in the Upper Applegate River drainage of the Siskiyou Mountains.

Great record! This is the first Black Salamander entered in Oregon.
Thanks for the correction. It's indeed Aneides flavipunctatus. Being a smallish specimen, the relative narrow head and slim body fooled my eye into thinking it was a Plethodon.
Are you sure this is P. stormi and not Aneides flavipunctatus? It looks a couple of costal grooves short of stormi and the greenish/silver frosting is more typical of flavipunctatus in that area.
