I found this old photo in the archives of the News Register (McMinnville, Oregon newspaper). It shows a decapitated Northern Pacific Rattlesnake that was killed during 1957 near the small farming community of Whiteson, at the edge of the Amity Hills. As far as I know, this is the last documented Yamhill County native rattlesnake. Typical of most C. o. oreganus from Oregon's mid Willamette Valley, it had a unique dorsal pattern of crossbars extending from the tail nearly to the neck.
