Notes
It was a sunny day, the first in weeks, so I went out with some friends to E.E. Wilson to see if anything was out. We found lots of mammals and snake skins under the tin but no snakes. My friend's dog tracked a dead mouse in the field and when we got to the dog there were four garter snakes that we observed scattering. I was able to photograph two of them but the other two were too fast and deep in the brush by the time my camera was out.
