It was, and you can tell in the pic, no underground access...good thing I lifted the rock from the middle and straight back. As if I lifted from the right side and in a vertical way, I could of squished the snake into the dirt, or if I lifted from the left...well that might of been bad, lol. Good reason to always check the edges of rocks before lifting. I've touched ruber a time or two by neglecting to always check edges.
looks like it was just under the lip of the rock, those are the ones you gotta watch out for lol
