Pinnacles National Park.
It was a lifer for me. When I found it, it was under a rock. While doing the Pinnacles Christmas Bird Count I was also doing some collecting for the official Pinnacles Spider Survey. I moved the snake onto this rock so he wouldn't get crushed when I set the big rock he was under back down. After the rock was replaced, he was carefully put back along the edge of it so he could crawl back under.
