Notes
I've noticed a propensity in various areas for certain lizards to hang out near the edge of busy hwys to capture insects that get hit by cars. This Uta was observed snatching up a butterfly and running back to its rock. I have also seen more than one hit lizard, so it is unclear whether this free meal idea truly benefits them.
