Notes
Named: "Yogi"
Buddy was crossing the dirt road/trail when I spotted him from approx. 100 yards away.
Yogi is an adult; having 5 button rattle - broken tip, all buttons evenly sized. This rattlesnake exhibited intense rattling at time of catch, then settled down after about 10 minutes. Keeping Yogi cool in the shade, he exhibited very little to no rattling for the next 40 minutes while I photographed him.
Yogi is a full grown adult male. Very healthy rattler of dark brown octagon dorsal pattern with cream separation stripes, over dark beige/moss green side panel. His face, under jaw, and behind venom sacks were a cream color. The tail is dark brown horizontal stripe over cream. Measured at 36" / Five (5) Button Rattle. Yogi was a catch & released after photo's and video were completed, I released Yogi approx. 75 yards from where he was acquired.
