Notes
This could quite possibly be the earliest record for a snake in Wisconsin history. This snake was found on the side of the road at Horicon NWR with it's head missing (human persecution or mammalian carnivore?). The outside temperature was 9 F, but just a week before temperatures reached the mid forties. I don't know how long this snake had been there before I found it.
