There's a chance that's not true - B. nigriventris gets right up to the SD border in the mountains. Not saying they're there, but there's a possiblity they're there.

Which species distinctions did you consider in IDing this one? The newer distinctions I've seen do not list B. attenuatus as occuring this far south (anywhere below central Cali). Is it possibly B. major?
