This old record's date is 100% correct because this image was scanned from a 35mm slide taken on my wedding day in that park. Kids of the guests caught the snake under a log at the edge of the woods by the clearing where the marriage ceremony took place. There were at least 60 witnesses. That 'wedding image' also appears in Ray & Patricia Ashton's 3-part book series 'Reptiles and Amphibians of Florida, Part 1 - Snakes' from the early 1980s.
