Very recent DOR on busy rd., still moving slightly. Definitely a heartbreaker.

Jake, surprisingly it was still twitching. I believe it had been killed fairly recently and was just getting run over repeatedly over a short period of time until I was able to get to it. To put it in perspective, the road runs through nice habitat but is unfortunately so busy that any snake crossing in daylight hours has very little chance of making it across alive.
Dang, that sucks. Looks to have been dead a long time.
