Found half of the snake in the garden, and I don't know where the other half is. Puncture marks indicate that it is a victim of our or the neighbor's cat. I presume it is part of the progeny of the milksnake I know has/had a burrow in our front yard (see my record from 7-22-11).

That's how I feel. Fortunately, it does bode well for there being more juvies about. I'll have to go explore the undeveloped property next door and talk to my neighbors. But it's cool to know there is a breeding pair of L.triangulum amaura nearby.
