Yeah. The database results look odd with 4 different kinds of night snakes entered in San Diego County right now, but I understand because the taxonomy is all confused. SSAR would say "chlorophaea deserticola" for desert I believe, but you're right that it's not as defined as it should be.

I thought it was San Diego Night snake (ochrorhyncha klauberi) on the coast in San Diego...but I'm not necessarily right on that.
