Notes
One rather clear Southern Dusky flipped at the very edge of a mucky swamp on the periphery of their range. Salamander had portholes, weak red-orange eye-jaw line, spotted belly, and correct habitat for Southern Dusky. Classical stuff. Now considered Desmognathus valtos, "Carolina Swamp Dusky Salamander."
