Notes
In a euphoric turn, three Mabee's Salamanders, all gravid females from our reckoning, were seen under logs adjacent small breeding pools in a larger wetland area. All had abundant brilliant gray-silver flecking. It seems the breeding season has come early this year in the Tidewater.
