Notes
At least 9 softshell turtles seen between 10am and 11:30am along 1.5 miles of the creek. Some were in water and some basking. They spooked easy and so the vouchers are poor. I was not able to ID the species at the time, but better pictures taken the following year of the same population convinced me that they were spiny softshells. Four vouchered.
